[Sticky] Has a duck ever won the lottery?
This a philosophical conundrum with its basis in scepticism. The title alludes to the post hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy: "I touched a lucky paper duck in a Chinese restaurant and then won the lottery, therefore the duck made me win." Did I win because I touched the duck or would have I won the lottery anyway? What was it that set in motion the chain of events that led me to the jackpot?
